I love getting stuff in the mail. MOOOO Print

For those who haven't heard of Moo Print, they rock. Very innovative, awesome products and very cool packaging. The white box it came in is made from recycled plastic and the paper was sustainably sourced. Only problem is you are paying big time for the cool packaging and they don't offer much of a bulk discount.

I used a template design (shame on me since I'm a graphic designer), but I loved the idea of having the different black and white patterns. I have a black and white damask design with my branding so I thought this still fit. These would also make great price tags since all you would have to do is hole punch one end. Their site also allows you to upload photos from your Etsy store and you can have 100 different photos in your pack of 100. How cool is that?

Etsy Store/Scrabble Pendants Making Progress!

I am hard at work making my scrabble tile pendants. I'll be able to list some on my Etsy Store as soon as I get the bails in.

I'm having a few issues which I wonder if other have or had... sometimes my glaze cracks. My corners of the paper raise up sometimes as well. I simply redo the pendant when either of these happen but it's slightly annoying. By the way, I use Mod Podge Glaze because it's the only one I can get around here.

I'm also trying to decide whet her to purchase a light box tent photo kit thingy. I made one myself but I want one that folds up neat and tidy. (I don't need a cut up diaper box hanging around the kitchen.) Am I just wasting money? I have heard that photos make a huge difference in the success of an Etsy site. I've found some online for about $40 + shipping, but that's so cheap it makes me nervous.

Today I'm off to look for paper retail bags for Christmas fairs!

Moving from Wordpress to Blogger

I've been a big fan of Wordpress for a while now and even based my business website with a wordpress template but I had to switch over for my personal blog mostly because I wanted/needed to add an Etsy Mini! Apparently you can't add Etsy Mini to Wordpress. I'm also trying Adsense. Not that I want my blog to look like an ad but I think people are pretty used to having them there and can ignore them if they want. I also love the fact that my analytics (which I check alot daily because of my etsy and business websites) and blog are all in one spot - My account. Google really is taking over the world.
